ENNISCORTHY ISLAMIC CULTURAL CENTER COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Enniscorthy Islamic Cultural Centre Company Limited by Guarantee is a community‑focused religious and cultural organisation serving Muslims throughout County Wexford. Established in the early 2010s, the centre began its work from a premises on Ross Road Show Ground in Enniscorthy, with the long‑term vision of developing a full‑scale Islamic complex that includes a mosque, school, library, lecture hall, museum and a residence for the Imam.

The centre provides a comprehensive programme of worship and learning. It hosts the five daily prayers, Friday congregational prayers, Taraweeh and Eid services, while also running a madrasah for children, Quran and Arabic classes and regular Islamic lectures. Community‑building activities such as Eid celebrations, daily iftar during Ramadan, neighbourhood weeks and charitable initiatives further strengthen ties between Muslims and the wider public, promoting mutual understanding and friendship.

Through its fundraising campaigns, the centre seeks support to expand the mosque building, enhance educational provision for children and administer Zakat, ensuring that the heart of the community continues to thrive as a place of worship, education and social cohesion.
