Marist Education Authority Schools Company Limited by Guarantee is the proactive trusteeship body that safeguards, promotes and develops the Catholic Marist ethos across a network of distinguished schools in Ireland. Acting as the central governing organisation, it oversees the strategic direction, pastoral care and educational standards of its member institutions, ensuring that each school reflects the values and traditions of the Society of Mary.

The Authority’s portfolio includes Catholic University School – a historic private boys’ secondary and preparatory school founded in 1867 in Dublin; Chanel College, established in 1955 on the Malahide Road on Dublin’s north side; and St Mary’s College, an 11‑acre co‑educational secondary school founded in 1861 in the heart of Dundalk. Through these schools, the Authority delivers a Catholic, Marist‑inspired education that balances academic rigour with spiritual formation, while also supporting initiatives such as international forums, charter development and a clear mission statement for the wider Marist community.
