The Somali‑Irish Community Development Association (SICDAS) is a not‑for‑profit association dedicated to strengthening the Somali‑Irish community across Ireland. By offering a range of culturally‑sensitive programmes, SICDAS works with individuals of all ages to foster social connection, belonging and empowerment, especially for asylum‑seekers, families and those with special needs.

Key services include youth sport development (football and other team games), language assistance through translation and interpretation, and comprehensive integration support. The association also provides practical help with housing advice, employment assistance, legal guidance, family support and compassionate funeral arrangements. Each initiative is designed to break down barriers, promote gender equality and nurture a vibrant, inclusive community network.
