SIMON COMMUNITIES OF IRELAND

Simon Communities of Ireland is a national network of locally-run charities dedicated to ending homelessness. By linking 13 regional Simon Communities - from Cork and Kerry in the south to Louth and Monaghan in the north - the organisation provides a coordinated response for anyone facing a housing crisis, while also offering a clear route for individuals to make local donations.

Each community delivers a range of frontline services, including emergency accommodation, advice and support for securing long-term housing, and specialised assistance for families, children and people with complex needs. In addition, the network runs a Statistics Hub, conducts research and policy work, and publishes insights such as the COMHOM project findings. Volunteering and employment opportunities are regularly advertised on the local sites, enabling supporters to contribute directly to the mission.

Through advocacy, research and on-the-ground help, Simon Communities of Ireland strives for an Ireland where secure, affordable homes are the norm and homelessness is a rare, short-term occurrence, with a holistic response ready for anyone in crisis.
