HUMANITARIAN IMPACT INSTITUTE LIMITED

The Humanitarian Impact Institute (HII) is a Dublin‑based research and learning organisation that helps humanitarian, development, sustainability and peace‑building actors amplify community voices and boost the impact of their programmes worldwide. By applying inclusive, participatory approaches, HII captures local perceptions, knowledge and aspirations to inform more effective, community‑driven interventions in fragile, conflict‑affected and marginalised settings.

HII’s suite of services spans primary research, feasibility studies, needs assessments and policy analysis, alongside a full MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning) portfolio that includes impact evaluations, learning reviews, third‑party monitoring and localisation assessments. Its strategy arm designs humanitarian innovation, AI‑enabled digital futures, MEAL systems and organisational transformation, while its training courses develop humanitarian leadership and evaluator expertise. The Institute is also recognised for its localisation work, having delivered more external evaluations on the topic than any other organisation in the sector over the past two years.

Headquartered in The Academy, opposite Trinity College Dublin, HII operates through regional hubs in Ukraine, Ethiopia, Lebanon, Türkiye and Afghanistan, serving NGOs, INGOs and other development partners committed to inclusive, sustainable change.
