THE CONNEMARA PONY NATIONAL STUD LIMITED

The Connemara Pony National Stud Limited – trading as Diamonds Equine – is a family‑run operation at the heart of the Connemara Pony’s native home in Connemara, Co. Galway. For decades the stud has bred, trained, competed and exported top‑class Connemara performance ponies, building a lineage that includes champion bloodlines such as the 1970s Supreme Champion Kimble and his mare Queen of Diamonds.

The stud’s core services centre on the provision of elite performance stallions and the production of high‑quality progeny. Their roster includes Grade A stallions Albran, Clifden Silver and Poetic Kelly, together with the newly introduced Class 1 stallions Diamonds Ice and Cool, Diamonds Shadow Fix, Swanview Silvers Shadow and Kit Harrington Rose. Through an EU‑approved artificial insemination and semen‑storage centre, the stud offers AI services to breeders worldwide. In addition, Diamonds Equine runs a full‑service equestrian centre, providing expertly trained horses for novice and experienced riders, as well as guided treks across the rugged Connemara landscape along the Wild Atlantic Way.
