THE EXISTENTIAL AND INTEGRATIVE PSYCHOTHERAPY ASSOCIATION OF IRELAND COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

The Existential and Integrative Psychotherapy Association of Ireland (EIPA) is a company limited by guarantee that has been championing the existential approach to psychotherapy since September 2021. Its core mission is to represent Irish practitioners, foster collaboration with European professional bodies, and engage with government agencies and the wider community on matters of mental-health care.

EIPA delivers a rigorous accreditation system that meets European Association for Psychotherapy standards, overseen by a committee of practising psychotherapists and an independent external examiner. In addition to accreditation, the association promotes research and education, and runs an email referral service that connects members of the public with qualified existential-oriented therapists. Through close partnership with the Federation for Existential Therapy in Europe (FETE)-a full member of the European Association for Psychotherapy-EIPA ensures that Irish practitioners are integrated into a broader European network, enhancing professional development and client access to specialised therapeutic support.
