The Dalkey Food Company is a creative cooking collective founded in 2010 by a local Dalkey entrepreneur with a love of seasonality and artisanal flavour. Operating within the Irish Slow Food Movement, the company supplies wholesome, handcrafted soups, breads and a range of 100 % vegan sorbetti to cafés, pubs and retailers across the country, while also offering bespoke catering, private‑chef services and hands‑on cookery classes for all skill levels.

Their flagship sorbetti range – Sorrento, Torca, Vico and Nerano – showcases bold, Mediterranean‑inspired profiles such as lemon‑bright Sorrento, raspberry‑tarragon Torca, chocolate‑orange Vico and strawberry‑basil Nerano, all packaged in 500 ml tubs and stocked in major Irish retailers from Butlers Pantry to Aldi. In winter the company delivers freshly made, hot soups prepared each morning from the freshest seasonal vegetables, and in summer provides ready‑to‑use sorbetti mixes for soft‑serve machines, all free from additives and suitable for vegan diets.
