Tara Hill Community Development Association Company Limited by Guarantee is a not‑for‑profit organisation dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents of Tara Hill, Ballymoney and Castletown. Working in partnership with Wexford Local Development and local consultants, the association has produced a five‑year Community Development Plan (2023‑2027) that identifies a pressing need for improved facilities, safer roads and better parking.

The association’s core activity is the delivery of a purpose‑built Community Hub, to be sited beside Tara Hill National School in the heart of Tara Hill village. The hub will house a modern sports hall, flexible meeting and creative spaces, a viewing area, changing rooms and a welcoming café‑style lounge. Complementary outdoor provisions include a community garden with allotments, a playground and ample parking. By providing these indoor and outdoor amenities, the association aims to foster social connection, promote active lifestyles and support local businesses.

Through ongoing community consultation, road‑safety initiatives and the development of sustainable green spaces, Tara Hill Community Development Association serves as a catalyst for a safer, more vibrant and inclusive rural community.
