Sheltonville Surgery is a family‑practice medical centre based in Ferrybank, Arklow, Co. Wicklow. Established in 1984 by Dr Bill O’Connell and relocated to its purpose‑built premises in 2005, the practice now serves a mixed patient base of Medical Card, GP Visit Card, under‑6s and private patients. With three doctors, two nurses, a practice manager and a friendly reception team, Sheltonville delivers high‑quality, comprehensive care in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

The surgery offers a broad range of services, from antenatal and post‑natal care, minor surgery and routine childhood vaccinations to regular health checks. It runs dedicated clinics for chronic disease management, including diabetes, asthma and COPD, and provides extra respiratory and acute winter clinics for patients with new or worsening symptoms. Vaccination clinics for flu, COVID‑19 and booster doses are currently available, and nursing services such as blood‑test arrangements and repeat‑prescription handling are provided electronically for added convenience.
