Limerick Polymers Production Unlimited (LPP) is Ireland’s leading specialist in plastic recycling, operating the nation’s first purpose‑built Plastic Recovery Facility. Based on the Galvone Industrial Estate in Limerick, the company transforms post‑consumer LDPE film into high‑quality pellets that can replace virgin plastic in flexible packaging, a capability that has never been achieved at scale in Europe.

LPP’s core services include the collection, sorting and processing of plastic waste, a state‑of‑the‑art wash‑line and extrusion line for both natural and coloured LDPE, and the production of up to 13,000 tonnes of recyclable pellets each year. Recent expansion has added over 11 acres of land and 130,000 sq ft of buildings, underpinning a €30 million investment that positions the site as one of Europe’s largest post‑consumer film recycling facilities.

Recognised for its excellence, LPP has secured the overall Pakman Award (2022) and the Waste Recycling and Recovery Facility Award (2023), underscoring its commitment to a circular economy and to helping Irish businesses meet the national target of 55 % plastic packaging recycling by 2030.
