Ohana Zero Suicide Company Limited by Guarantee is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to equipping individuals in Ireland with the skills to intervene when someone may be suicidal. Drawing on the proven Zero Suicide Awareness (ZSA) training originally created by suicide-prevention expert Jane Boland and former Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide chair Angela Samata, Ohana offers a free, 20-minute online module that teaches users how to spot warning signs, use the right language, and direct the person to appropriate help - summed up in the simple mantra "Show you care, ask the question, make the call."

The training is open to anyone over 18 and includes a specialised edition for third-level students, making it a practical resource for workplaces, colleges and community groups. Since its launch, more than 1.4 million people across the UK have completed the programme, and Ohana now brings the same life-saving opportunity to audiences throughout Ireland in partnership with the Zero Suicide Alliance. The service is available 24/7, free of charge, and designed to break stigma and foster open conversations about mental health.
