Raising Films Ireland Company Limited By Guarantee is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to building a more diverse, inclusive, equitable and sustainable working environment for carers and parents within the Irish creative screen industries. By listening to the lived experiences of screenwriters, producers, directors and other creatives, the charity champions flexible employment models - such as short-term contracts, regular-hour roles, job-share and part-time positions - and promotes the possibility of remote or reduced-face-to-face work where it benefits families.

The group delivers practical support through a range of initiatives, including a mentorship scheme, career-management panels and an annual Job Sharing Day, all designed to help carers retain and progress in their screen-industry careers. Its research, exemplified by the 'Pursuit of Change' report and a recent survey of 455 respondents, highlights the pressing need for better work-life balance and provides evidence-based recommendations for industry change.
