Company Description
General Aviation Maintenance Limited is a Combined Airworthiness Organisation (IE.CAO.119) that provides comprehensive maintenance for non-commercial aircraft up to 2 730 kg MTOW under EASA Part ML. Backed by an independent certifying team-including a UK CAA B1-licensed engineer and an EASA Part 66 B1.2-licensed engineer (Group 3 rating)-the company is authorised to carry out airworthiness reviews and issue Airworthiness Review Certificates (ARCs) for piston-propeller aircraft, now extending to G-Reg aircraft from January 2025.
The firm's service suite covers everything from annual and 100-hour inspections to specialised tasks such as borescope examinations, spark-plug cleaning and testing, differential compression checks, nitrogen tyre and nose-oleo filling, and magneto timing. It also offers top-overhauls, in-situ valve lapping, engine removals and re-installation, crating for overhaul, ignition-harness repairs, and on-site battery jump-starting at Kilrush Airfield. Recent work includes ARC renewals for Cessna 152s, 500-hour magneto inspections for Piper Cubs, and ignition-module upgrades on Rotax-powered aircraft.
Serving owners and operators of light aircraft across Ireland, General Aviation Maintenance Limited combines regulatory expertise with hands-on engineering to keep aircraft safe, airworthy and ready for flight.
