YOUTH MINISTRY DEVELOPMENT

Youth Ministry Development (YMD) is an Irish organisation dedicated to equipping local churches to reach young people effectively. By offering free training, mentoring and ongoing support, YMD helps congregations of any size to start, restart or enhance their youth ministries. Their team of experienced advisors works alongside church leaders to plan, implement and evaluate programmes, ensuring that each step is rooted in sound biblical practice and practical insight.

A key feature of YMD's outreach is the monthly REFRESH session - a one-hour gathering for youth leaders and volunteers to pray, share encouragement and connect, either in-person at the Irish Bible Institute or via Zoom. The organisation also runs YMD HUBs and provides a wealth of resources through videos and information events, all aimed at fostering vibrant, locally-led youth work without any cost barrier.

Through its collaborative, locally-focused approach, YMD empowers churches across Ireland to build sustainable, Spirit-led ministries that resonate with the next generation.
