DUBLIN CITY CHORAL UNION

Dublin City Choral Union is a mixed-voice choir founded in 2018 and led by artistic director Duncan Brickenden. Drawing on a symphonic sound and vibrant energy, the ensemble performs a wide-ranging repertoire that spans sacred motets, large-scale oratorios, gospel works and other choral favourites. Regular concerts and lunchtime recitals take place in venues across the country, from Dublin's historic churches to community halls in Westport, Enniscorthy and beyond, offering audiences fresh interpretations of composers such as Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Haydn and contemporary Irish writers.

Beyond public performances, the choir nurtures its community through open auditions for new members and charitable events, including annual carol concerts supporting organisations like Focus Ireland. By combining high-quality musical standards with an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere, Dublin City Choral Union provides both singers and listeners with memorable, uplifting choral experiences throughout Ireland.
