United World Colleges Ireland National Committee (UWC Ireland) is a charitable organisation dedicated to making education a force that unites people, nations and cultures. Through its national committee, UWC Ireland selects and supports Irish students for the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBDP) and Career-related Programme (IBCP) at any of the 18 UWC schools spread across four continents. Each year more than 3,000 students study at a UWC campus, and over 80 % of those chosen by UWC Ireland receive full or partial scholarships, ensuring that financial need never blocks a talented young changemaker.

Beyond the scholarship programme, UWC Ireland offers a range of ways to get involved, from volunteering and sharing the UWC experience to providing information for prospective students about life at a UWC college. With a network of 150+ national committees, 5,000 volunteers and 85,000 alumni worldwide, the organisation creates a vibrant community that empowers Irish youth to apply their talents and energy to drive positive change wherever their future path leads.
