GOREY AWARDS LIMITED

Gorey Awards Limited is a community-focused organisation that has, for six years, celebrated the people, businesses and charities of Gorey and the wider North Wexford area. By curating the annual Gorey Awards, the company has highlighted local heroes, thriving enterprises and vital community groups through print, radio, web and social-media channels, helping to raise both profile and pride across the region.

The Awards have become a recognised platform for fundraising, having generated €34,702.60 for a diverse range of local charities, including To Tom, Advocates for Autism, the Gorey District Hospital support network, Voices of Gorey, the SPCA, and Meals on Wheels, among others. In addition to honour-giving, Gorey Awards Limited has provided sponsorship opportunities, judging panels and event management services that bring together volunteers, sponsors and attendees in a shared celebration of community spirit.

Although the 2026 edition has been cancelled due to rising costs and time commitments, the legacy of the Gorey Awards endures as a testament to the power of local collaboration and the lasting impact of recognising excellence in North Wexford.
