IRISH GIRL GUIDES

Irish Girl Guides (IGG) is a youth-driven, dynamic organisation that empowers roughly 10,000 girls, young women and adult volunteers across Ireland. Offering a vibrant, age-appropriate programme, IGG supports members from five years old through to thirty, helping them build confidence, leadership and lifelong friendships. The core sections are Ladybirds (5-7), Brownies (7-10), Guides (10-14) and the Senior Branch (14-30), each designed to develop skills such as teamwork, independence and self-discovery through badge-earning adventures and community projects.

Beyond the programme, IGG runs an online shop stocked with uniforms, books and merchandise, providing members with the gear they need for their guiding journey (currently on a brief seasonal pause for stock-taking). A small paid staff works alongside a dedicated volunteer network to ensure a safe, supportive environment for all participants. By fostering a love of leadership and offering a welcoming space for girls of every interest, Irish Girl Guides continues to be a cornerstone of youth development throughout the country.
