Annagh Wind Farm Limited is an Irish‑based renewable energy developer operating under the EMPower umbrella. Specialising in on‑shore wind generation, the company is currently in the pre‑feasibility and public‑consultation stage of a 36 MW project that will deliver clean power for roughly 21 000 Irish homes. Annagh’s focus is on low‑carbon, ecologically non‑invasive solutions that support Ireland’s expanding economy and its sustainable‑energy targets.

The Annagh development, situated in County Cork – about 3 km north of Churchtown and 5 km south‑west of Charleville – will involve a €36.6 million investment, creating 57 direct jobs and contributing €6 million in county‑council rates over its lifetime. A community fund, calculated at €2 per MWh produced, is expected to generate around €178 000 a year for local initiatives, while a €2.5 million dedicated fund will further support the surrounding area. Through transparent online consultation rooms and the publication of all Environmental Impact Assessment studies, Annagh Wind Farm keeps the local community fully informed and engaged throughout the project’s progression.
