Company Description
The General Service Board of Alcoholics Anonymous of Ireland (AA Ireland) is the national fellowship that brings together men and women who share a desire to stop drinking. Operating as a self-supporting, non-sectarian organisation, AA Ireland offers a safe, confidential space where members exchange experience, strength and hope, helping each other achieve lasting sobriety.
Key services include regular open meetings across the country, a dedicated literature shop (both online and at the Service Office) offering the Big Book, Plain Language editions and the monthly *Road Back* publication, as well as specialised leaflets for professionals. The Board also provides information and liaison support for health-care and social-service professionals, and organises a calendar of events ranging from local public meetings to national conventions.
With no membership fees or dues, AA Ireland welcomes anyone who wishes to stop drinking, as well as families and friends seeking support. Its nationwide reach and volunteer-driven model make it a cornerstone of recovery and community care throughout Ireland.
