Caherconnell Farm Limited is a family‑run heritage attraction nestled in a hidden valley in the heart of the Burren, County Clare. For five generations the Davouren family has farmed the land using traditional methods, moving livestock between the upland Burren hills in winter and the fertile lowlands in summer. Today the farm welcomes visitors to experience the living traditions of this unique landscape through guided tours of the 10th‑century Caherconnell stone fort and the county’s only sheep‑dog demonstrations.

The core offering combines an educational walk through the well‑preserved fort with daily border‑collie displays, where the dogs and their handler showcase the centuries‑old partnership of shepherd and canine. Guests can also enjoy a small café serving sandwiches, soups, coffee and homemade treats, and, for a hands‑on touch, interact with the dogs and even hold a baby lamb after the demo.
