Ogras

Ógras is a vibrant Irish-language youth organisation dedicated to children and teenagers aged 7-17. It provides a broad programme of activities - from weekly clubs and summer camps to tours, projects, workshops and inter-national exchanges - all delivered through Irish. The service is split into two age groups: Óg-Ógras for youngsters aged 7-12 and Ógras for adolescents aged 12-17, ensuring that each cohort enjoys age-appropriate experiences.

The core aim of Ógras is to create a safe, educational and positive environment where young people can make friends, have fun and develop confidence while using the Irish language. By offering a diverse range of activities, the organisation supports personal growth and helps preserve Ireland's cultural and linguistic heritage for the next generation. Participants can easily sign up for clubs, camps or become volunteers, joining a community that celebrates Irish language and culture in an engaging, supportive setting.
