COUNTY ROSCOMMON ASSOCIATION SUPPORTING PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

County Roscommon Disability Support Group CLG (RSG) is a not‑for‑profit organisation that has been delivering disability and home‑support services across County Roscommon and the neighbouring counties since 1989. RSG’s core mission is to empower people with physical or sensory disabilities, older adults and children, helping them live as independently and comfortably as possible in their own homes and communities.

The group offers a comprehensive suite of person‑centred services, including Home Support for daily living tasks, Personal Assistant assistance that promotes independence, and a Resource Centre providing recreation, therapeutic activities and life‑skills training for those under 65. Since 2010 RSG has also run QQI‑accredited Level 5 healthcare training, equipping staff and carers with recognised qualifications. Through successful HSE tendering, these services now extend beyond Roscommon, reaching a wider regional audience while maintaining a local, compassionate approach.
