Company Description
The National Federation of Arch Clubs is a voluntary organisation that supports a network of community-run Arch Clubs for children and adults with additional needs. Founded in Dublin in 1976 by a small group of parents, the federation now oversees 55 clubs spread across 16 counties, providing a safe, inclusive space where members can develop social skills, personal awareness and physical fitness while sharing gifts, talents and friendships with families and the wider community.
Through guidance, encouragement and shared resources, the federation enables each club to deliver a varied programme of social outings, fundraising events and skill-building activities. Volunteers, partners and supporters are welcomed to help enrich the experience of members, ensuring that every club remains a vibrant hub for joy, courage and connection.
By championing the social and interpersonal development of people with additional needs, the National Federation of Arch Clubs plays a vital role in fostering community cohesion and lifelong friendships throughout Ireland.
