ENFIELD DEVELOPMENT GROUP

Enfield Development Group (EDG) is a volunteer‑run organisation dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Enfield, County Meath. Formed in 2016, the group brings together enthusiastic, multi‑skilled locals who work tirelessly to secure and improve community facilities, from establishing the new Enterprise and Community Hub in the former ESB building to regenerating St Patrick’s Hall as a versatile space for music, arts, sport and cultural activities.

EDG’s core services centre on project delivery and event organisation that unite residents and raise vital funds for the town. Highlights include the refurbishment of the parish hall – bolstered by a €250,000 grant under the Town and Village Renewal Scheme – and a lively programme of seasonal events such as the Christmas lights, summer festivals and Halloween fundraisers. The group also runs a secure fundraising platform, ensuring every donation directly supports local initiatives.
