MACALLA FARM LIMITED

Macalla Farm Limited is an organic, regenerative farm and yoga retreat centre situated on Clare Island, off the west coast of Ireland. Since 2001 it has welcomed guests to a tranquil setting where learning, collaboration and reflection are woven into daily life. The farm offers residential Sati Yoga and meditation retreats—ranging from long‑weekend programmes to five‑night and week‑long silent retreats—centred on hatha yoga, breathwork and mindful awareness.

In addition to its core yoga curriculum, Macalla Farm runs skill‑sharing courses in vegetarian/vegan cooking and fermentation during the summer months, and operates the Stone Barn Café, serving organic, fair‑trade fare sourced from the farm itself. Volunteers and woofers from more than 25 countries join the community, exchanging work for wholesome meals and comfortable accommodation while contributing to the farm’s sustainable ethos.

Upcoming events include the New Year’s Retreat (28 December 2025 – 2 January 2026), a five‑night immersion designed to deepen intention, awareness and right effort. Macalla Farm provides a welcoming haven for anyone seeking yoga, meditation, wholesome food and a chance to reconnect with nature.
