Mulranny Community Futures Company Limited By Guarantee is a community-driven organisation based in the coastal village of Mulranny, County Mayo. Working in partnership with local groups, the Mayo Sustainability Fund and the Climate Connected project, it coordinates a wide range of climate-action and regeneration initiatives under the CARE (Climate Action for a Regenerative Environment) programme. The company's remit includes delivering educational workshops for primary schools, organising community-wide events such as guided coastal walks, panel discussions and exhibitions, and supporting the Mulranny Decarbonisation Zone to reduce the village's carbon footprint.

Beyond environmental work, Mulranny Community Futures steers the village's long-term development through its Community Action Plan (2022-2027). The plan outlines priorities for extending the pier and marina, enhancing outdoor and beach facilities, promoting year-round tourism, expanding community playgrounds and sports amenities, and improving transport, broadband and local enterprise. Recent achievements include the opening of a new community playground, the Old Irish Goat Visitor Centre, and the launch of a social-housing scheme to secure affordable homes for local families.

Through participative democracy tools such as the Mulranny Geosurvey, the organisation invites residents to shape public spaces, transport, water and enterprise projects, ensuring that the future of Mulranny is co-created, sustainable and vibrant for all.
