IRISH BEEKEEPERS' ASSOCIATION COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

The Irish Beekeepers' Association Company Limited By Guarantee (FIBKA) is the umbrella federation for more than 40 local beekeeping associations across the island. As the largest beekeeping organisation in Ireland, it advocates for beekeepers at regional, national, European and international levels, liaising with government and semi-state bodies to protect and promote the interests of the beekeeping community.

FIBKA delivers a comprehensive suite of services to its members, including insurance, a monthly beekeeping magazine *AN BEACHAIRE*, regular news updates, lectures and an annual Summer School. Education is a core focus - the federation offers beginner courses, ongoing training, mentoring and a full syllabus designed to raise the standards of beekeeping practice throughout the country. Local associations, through which membership is obtained, also host meetings, demonstrations and events that foster a supportive network of both novice and experienced beekeepers.
