Oiled Wildlife Response Network Company Limited By Guarantee is a dedicated Irish coalition that strengthens wildlife-response capabilities after pollution incidents. Its core mission is to deliver the highest internationally recognised standard of care to animals affected by oil spills, working closely with conservation, animal-welfare and governmental bodies across the country.

The network's primary service is a comprehensive training programme based on the EUROWA (European Oiled Wildlife Assistance) modular courses. To date it has equipped more than 200 volunteers with basic responder skills and 15 individuals with advanced expertise, creating a ready-to-act team of first responders. In addition, the organisation coordinates pre-staged equipment, specialised facilities and a unified response plan, ensuring that rescued wildlife receives prompt, humane treatment.

Operating from Foynes in County Limerick, Oiled Wildlife Response Network serves volunteers, wildlife rescue groups and the wider public throughout Ireland, offering guidance on handling oiled birds and fostering a well-exercised, professional response framework for any marine wildlife emergency.
