IRISH ASSOCIATION OF UROLOGY NURSES COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

The Irish Association of Urology Nurses (IAUN) is a non-profit organisation founded in 2002 by a group of dedicated nurses who wanted to champion urology nursing across Ireland. Acting as the representative body for qualified nurses and allied health professionals with an interest in urology, IAUN promotes high-quality, evidence-based, holistic care and provides a forum for sharing knowledge and experience.

Key services include the Annual Educational Conference - a flagship event that delivers up-to-date clinical education, networking opportunities and a platform for professional development. Membership, available to full-qualified urology nurses (with voting rights) and to allied health staff (affiliated membership), also grants access to a combined IAUN/European Association of Urology Nurses (EAUN) package, expanding learning and collaborative possibilities beyond the island. Through newsletters, resources and an expert advisory service, IAUN supports its members in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of urological treatment plans, fostering continual professional growth throughout the sector.
