Foxborough Riding Club Company Limited By Guarantee is Ireland's pioneering equestrian community in the South, having been established in 1972 by a group of dedicated enthusiasts - Esther de Groot, Helen Mangan, Theresa Bernon, Birgit Holfeld and Gladys McCormack. From its origins on the Foxborough estate in the Glen of the Downs, the club has grown into a vibrant hub for riders of all abilities, offering a welcoming environment for both competitive and recreational horsemanship.

The club's core offering is membership-based riding, with an annual fee of €80 for riding members. Through this membership, riders gain access to a programme of events that includes hunter and equitation shows, as well as a well-structured Dressage League, with regular results and leaderboards published for members. These activities provide opportunities for skill development, friendly competition and community building within the sport.
