Cú Chulainn Blood Bikes is a non-profit charity that keeps the wheels of emergency healthcare turning across the North-East of Ireland. By harnessing a dedicated team of volunteers, the organisation provides free, 24-hour-a-day transport of urgent blood samples, medical supplies, patient records and even human milk for premature infants between hospitals in Louth, Meath, Monaghan and Cavan. Their rapid-response service ensures that critical items reach the right clinical teams at the exact moment they are needed, helping to save lives and improve outcomes for patients throughout the region.

Beyond the day-to-day runs, Cú Chulainn also raises funds to support critically ill children and works in partnership with other Blood Bike charities across the island. The charity welcomes new volunteers-whether as riders or behind-the-scenes supporters-and runs community events to keep public awareness high.
