Drummin Bog Project Company Limited By Guarantee is a voluntary, not-for-profit community education initiative dedicated to restoring Drummin Bog - the only raised bog remaining in County Carlow and the South-East of Ireland. Based near the River Barrow and the historic site of St Mullins, the project brings together volunteers, schools, artists and local authorities to protect and revive this vital carbon-sink habitat.

The organisation coordinates hands-on activities such as invasive-species removal, peat-core sampling and the installation of wildlife boxes, while also delivering a six-module online course through Haumea Ecoversity that deepens participants' understanding of peatland ecology and nature connection. Through guided walks, citizen-science surveys, creative workshops and events linked to Irish Heritage Week and Climate Action Week, Drummin Bog Project raises public awareness, fosters artistic expression, and builds a network of supporters committed to biodiversity and climate resilience.
