KILLARNEY CARDIAC RESPONSE UNIT COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Killarney Cardiac Response Unit (KCRU) is a volunteer-run Community First Responder scheme comprising around 40 dedicated individuals from all walks of life. Working in close partnership with the National Ambulance Service, KCRU members are trained to attend 999/112 emergency calls, providing rapid, on-scene assistance that can be vital in cardiac and other life-threatening situations.

Guided by its mission to deliver a "quality, reliable and professional" service, the unit supports the entire wider Killarney area as well as East, Mid and South Kerry. By offering prompt, skilled response to emergencies, KCRU enhances the capacity of the national ambulance network and helps safeguard the health of the local community. Their volunteer ethos and collaborative approach make them a trusted lifeline for residents across the region.
