The organisation’s core services include managing the annual Farm Tyre Bring Days – a practical recycling event held at Crossmore Tyre Recycling in Kildorrery – where farmers can bring up to four tonnes of agricultural tyres at a reduced rate, with any excess recycled at a standard fee. Circol ELT also provides a secure online portal for members to pay annual fees, submit monthly waste reports and access compliance guidance. With a proven track record of sustainably handling over 96 % of the four million passenger‑car, 4×4, van and motorcycle tyres placed on the Irish market each year, the scheme is now poised to expand its remit to cover truck, bus, construction and industrial tyres, further strengthening traceability and environmental management.
