The Irish Institute of Celebrants (IIOC) is Ireland’s premier training provider for aspiring professional celebrants. Founded by Dr Lorraine Mancey in 2014, the institute equips students with the skills and confidence to design and deliver bespoke wedding, funeral and other life‑ceremony services that reflect today’s increasingly secular society.

IIOC’s blended learning model combines self‑paced online modules, recorded video tutorials and energetic live group sessions led by industry experts. The curriculum covers voice and performance techniques, a Love Story Masterclass taught by an award‑winning storytelling champion, choreography for guiding couples with sensitivity, and a “Synergy” module that helps celebrants forge a deep emotional connection with the ceremony and its participants.
