CONGREGATION OF OUR LADY OF THE MISSIONS (IRELAND) COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

The Congregation of Our Lady of the Missions (Ireland) Company Limited by Guarantee is a charitable religious community rooted in a Trinitarian-Marian spirituality. Founded by Adèle-Euphrasie Barbier, the Sisters combine prayer with concrete service, working in partnership with local groups to improve the lives of the most vulnerable. Their mission spans several continents, delivering education for tribal children in central India, nutrition programmes for mothers and babies in Senegal, and essential support for physically-challenged children in southern India.

In addition, the congregation provides clean-water facilities for the Menubu Dulangan tribe in the Philippines and operates a basic health centre for migrants in Kawthaung, Myanmar. Each project is driven by a commitment to dignity, health and sustainable development, with the Sisters collaborating closely with women's groups, local churches and community leaders. Based in Ireland, the congregation channels international solidarity into lasting, grassroots change for those on the peripheries of society.
