The Dublin School for Japanese Children Company Limited by Guarantee (DSJC) is a registered charity that has been supporting the Japanese community in Ireland since 1977. Established by the Ireland‑Japan Business Association, the school provides Saturday‑only supplementary education for Japanese children of compulsory‑school age who are resident in Ireland, helping them keep pace with the curriculum of Japan’s elementary and junior‑high schools.

Classes run from 9:45 am to 2:55 pm each Saturday and are delivered by experienced Japanese teachers – often former principals or classroom teachers – with a one‑teacher‑per‑grade model. The core programme focuses on Japanese language and mathematics, complemented by a dedicated “hoshuko time” for additional study.
