Highfield Solar is a dedicated solar‑PV developer operating exclusively within Ireland. Since its launch in 2014, the company has built a portfolio of ground‑mounted solar parks that now total 282 MWp in operation, with another 199 MWp close to completion and a further 700 MWp in late‑stage development. From the first site‑identification walk‑over through planning, construction and ongoing operational management, Highfield Solar’s in‑house team handles every stage of the project lifecycle.

The firm’s specialisation lies in careful site selection and strong landowner relationships, ensuring that each location can become a fully operational solar park. Its current projects include the 93 MWp Gaskinstown farm in County Meath, the 106 MWp Rathnaskillogue farm in County Waterford, the 136 MWp Gillinstown farm (operational since December 2022) and the 138 MWp Rosspile farm in Leinster (operational since 2022).

Highfield Solar is a joint venture between Dublin‑based Highfield Energy Services and the UK‑based Aura Power, combining deep knowledge of Ireland’s energy market, grid infrastructure and planning processes with extensive renewable‑energy development expertise.
