IRISH ASSOCIATION OF DERMATOLOGISTS

The Irish Association of Dermatologists (IAD) is the professional body that unites and supports dermatology specialists, trainees and allied professionals throughout Ireland. By organising regular scientific meetings, publishing abstracts and agendas, and providing a platform for speakers and poster presentations, the IAD creates a vibrant forum for the exchange of clinical knowledge and research advances.

A core part of the Association's remit is the delivery of a range of scholarships and bursaries. These include EADV Fellow scholarships, travel awards and undergraduate scholarships that enable medical students and early-career clinicians to attend the IAD's Autumn and Spring meetings, benefit from complimentary registration, accommodation and networking opportunities. The IAD also runs dedicated trainee programmes, offering guidance on the training pathway to become a dermatologist, sharing trainee reports and inviting abstracts for upcoming conferences.
