PSPA Ireland is the national support organisation for people living with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD), together with their families, carers and friends. Its core mission is to provide up-to-date information, facilitate peer-led group meetings, and champion the rights of members with government bodies and service providers. By raising awareness among medical professionals and the wider public, PSPA Ireland works to improve understanding of these complex degenerative brain conditions across the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom.

The charity offers a range of practical services, including regular support meetings, fundraising events such as walks and runs, and collaborative research projects - notably a study with the University of Limerick's Department of Nursing & Midwifery funded by the Irish Research Council. Through these activities, PSPA Ireland creates a supportive community, promotes advocacy, and drives education on PSP and CBD.
