Udug Association Company Limited By Guarantee is a Dublin-based non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering young people, particularly within the growing Somali community and other new arrivals in Ireland. Since its incorporation in 2014, Udug has created a safe, structured environment where children and youth can associate with peers while accessing a wide range of support services, from health, social and educational guidance to vocational training and character-development programmes.

The association delivers structured activities such as short and long courses, homework support, field trips, sports, seminars and specialised trainings, and it runs a Family Tracing and Counselling Service in partnership with the Somali Government to reunite separated families. Through capacity-building initiatives, research publications and policy advocacy, Udug also provides leadership training, business surgeries and consultancy to ensure the Somali voice is represented in decision-making forums.

With over ten years of experience, more than 150 members from diverse ethnic backgrounds, and a portfolio of 32 completed projects across Ireland, Germany, Türkiye and Latvia, Udug continues to champion youth diversity, inclusion and active participation at both local and European levels.
