Partry Afterschool Company Limited By Guarantee is a community-run after-school service operating out of Partry National School in the South Mayo village. Established by a group of local parents, the service offers a child-centred programme three days a week - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2 pm to 6 pm - providing a safe, welcoming space for children to unwind, complete homework and take part in a varied range of activities.

Under the guidance of qualified childcare practitioner Miss Sheila Prendergast, the programme blends creative arts, music and seasonal events such as Halloween discos, Easter egg hunts and Christmas performances. The service also organises fundraising activities that have drawn enthusiastic support from families and the wider community. By prioritising a warm, caring environment and a structured yet fun agenda, Partry Afterschool helps children transition smoothly from the school day to home life while fostering social interaction and personal development.
