Company Description
The Alfred Beit Foundation is the charitable organisation that cares for and shares the splendour of Russborough House and its surrounding estate. Based at the historic Palladian house in County Wicklow, the foundation preserves an internationally-important art collection, fine furnishings and 200 acres of parkland, ensuring they remain accessible to the public for education, inspiration and enjoyment.
Visitors can explore the house on guided tours that bring the lives of the three families who lived there to life, wander the walled garden, woodland trails and nature walk, or experience the Birds of Prey Centre and falconry displays. The on-site café and award-winning shop provide a relaxed spot for a meal or a unique gift, while a lively programme of events - from St Brigid's Day cross-making to seasonal exhibitions - keeps the estate vibrant year-round. Support is welcomed through donations, membership and patronage, which fund ongoing conservation, restoration and educational projects across the house, collection and parklands.
