Mary Street Medical Centre is a long‑standing general practice in Clonmel, founded in 1984 and proudly situated opposite Old Saint Mary’s Church and the historic 14th‑century Walls of the town. Over the decades the practice has grown into a vibrant hub of primary care, currently staffed by a diverse team of experienced doctors, including Dr Colman Walsh, Dr Judith Cheasty, Dr Gerry Sullivan, Dr Bernardine Rochford, Dr Cathy Foley and newer colleagues such as Dr Liz Cantwell, Dr James McGrath, Dr Claire McCarthy and Dr Sean Fitzpatrick. As a recognised training practice for GPs, Mary Street offers a supportive environment for both patients and future doctors.

The centre provides a comprehensive range of services: same‑day GP appointments, prescription fulfilment, cervical screening, phlebotomy, childhood immunisations, and the issuance of medical certificates. It also handles new‑patient registration, online payments and seasonal vaccinations, including Covid‑19 and flu shots. While Saturday appointments are no longer available, the practice remains fully operational throughout the week, ensuring timely and personalised care for the Clonmel community.
