Black Valley Hostel Limited is a family-run hospitality business with more than 75 years of experience welcoming travellers to the remote beauty of the Black Valley, near Beaufort in Killarney, County Kerry. Operating seasonally from April to September, the hostel provides a range of dormitory accommodation - male, female and mixed - complemented by a complimentary self-service light breakfast of milk, bread, eggs, cereal, tea and coffee.

In addition to the dorms, the hostel offers two self-catering apartments - The Timber House and The Little House - which are available year-round for a minimum two-night stay. Guests can take advantage of a convenient grocery-shopping service; by emailing the hostel 48 hours before arrival, supplies for meals can be collected on check-in, a valuable amenity given the absence of nearby shops, restaurants or bars.
