St Mochtas FC, founded in 1949, is a community‑driven football club serving Clonsilla and the wider Blanchardstown area. With a proud heritage of over seven decades, the club now fields 38 schoolboy teams across age groups from U8 (born 2018) to U19 (born 2007), alongside two adult sides competing at Leinster Senior level. More than 600 members benefit from a comprehensive programme that blends competitive play with a strong emphasis on personal development and safeguarding.

The club’s Academy runs every Saturday morning for boys and girls aged four to seven, providing a nurturing introduction to the game. Partnerships such as the Shelbourne collaboration open pathways for talented players aspiring to the under‑age National Leagues. In addition to on‑field activities, St Mochtas FC offers a suite of resources—including child‑welfare statements, Garda vetting and safeguarding policies—to ensure a safe, supportive environment for all participants. Membership is open to families and individuals who wish to join a vibrant, inclusive football community rooted in local tradition.
