Tallaght Rugby Football Club Company Limited By Guarantee is a community-driven rugby organisation founded in 2002 as part of the IRFU's "Tallaght Project", which aimed to introduce the sport to non-traditional areas. From its early focus on school-based under-age teams, the club launched its first senior side in 2006 and has since expanded to offer a full spectrum of playing opportunities for all ages and abilities.

The club runs senior men's and women's teams competing in the Leinster Metro League Division 6 and Leinster League Division 3 respectively, alongside a vibrant youth programme that includes boys (U13-U18), girls, and mixed minis (U6-U12). Training sessions are held on Pitch 100 opposite Firhouse Community College, with dedicated slots for each group. Tallaght Rugby welcomes newcomers of any experience level, encouraging participation as players, coaches or supporters, and prides itself on a "don't stop believing" ethos that fosters personal development and community spirit.
