LITTLE COMPANY OF MARY COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

The Little Company of Mary Company Limited by Guarantee is an international Catholic congregation of religious sisters, founded by Venerable Mary Potter on 2 July 1877. Drawing inspiration from the “little company” that stood with Mary at the foot of the Cross, the sisters devote themselves to being companions of Mary, the Mother of God, and to offering prayerful, compassionate care for people who are isolated, abandoned or wounded. Their mission is lived out through holistic support for those suffering in body, mind and spirit, underpinned by the values of care, commitment, compassion, empathy, hope and justice.

Across the globe the congregation runs a range of charitable activities – from health‑ and social‑care ministries to spiritual accompaniment – and maintains strong links with sister communities in Australia, New Zealand, Tonga, South Korea and the Philippines. Their work is characterised by a mother’s heart, seeking to bring hope’s radiance to the most vulnerable.
